Bridge Communication Speech-Language Pathologists

Bridge Communication Speech-Language Pathologists was founded in 2012 by Tamara Backer, MS CCC-SLP. Tamara is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Tamara has over 22 years of clinical training, specializing in the areas of neurological rehabilitation with an emphasis in speech and cognitive-linguistic therapy. In addition, Tamara has extensive experience working in both the medical and education settings. This gives her a unique perspective and understanding of her clients' needs. She is able to "BRIDGE" the necessary gap in order to provide well rounded and quality services. Tamara finds joy working collaboratively with her clients. Using her clinical skills and knowledge, she helps motivated individuals create personalized programs that suit their lifestyle and communication needs. The ability to provide these services through a tele-practice model and during flexible afternoon/evening sessions enhances real world opportunities, greater carry-over, relevance, and support.
